I went to my first crop at the weekend. An all day job with on-site stash shopping, yum! I really enjoyed it and it was truly humbling to be in the company of people who can talk, eat and scrap, all at the same time.
I did this LO of my oldest boy, taken at a picnic at Alderley Edge a couple of years ago. (I remember that afternoon vividly, it just hadn’t dawned on me how little he was then…) .
There were a couple of shop tables there. I only went to have a look at them out of politeness, but came away £23 lighter. Still not sure how that happened. I’m supposed to be economising, what with Gmex coming up in a fortnight, a retreat in early March, then the biggie in May – Happy Stampers at Port Sunlight.
Right ho, Spam for tea again tonight, then. The kids will turn out stunted, dull-eyed halfwits at this rate (you can see DS firmly clasping Jammy Dodgers on our ‘picnic’. Jamie Oliver would weep.). Still, keeping them in small sizes keeps the clothing costs down. Means more money for luvverly stash, mmmmmmm.
