I made some tags for a team tag swap on UK Scrappers. I used my favourite Paperartsy stamp, plus a Rhona Farrer swirl or flourish stamp and a bargain lace effect one I got from Lakeland. Lots of ink, some gold leafing around the edges, german scrap and - whispers - gold peel offs!!!
There. I've said it. Oh the relief! No, wait, where are you going? Come back, peel offs are great, honest!
I'm really big on gold peels offs at the moment. Not the main images themselves but rather the waste that surrounds them. I've found that borders, corners and fans especially have great shaped itty bitty bits that when put together look like bits of metalwork. Most of the metal effects on the inchies below were made from peel off waste.

Wow, your tags are gorgeous. I'm a big fan of the Rhonna Farrer stamps, and I have just ordered that Paperartsy stamp, can't wait for it to arrive now that I've seen your fab work.
I must get my eyes tested as I swear I saw the words 'Peel' and 'offs' but surely not.....only kidding! Wonderful tags Sam,love your style and the way you put things together.
Super duper. Love them.
