My one big purchase (and it was a bargain, much cheaper than in the shops. And it has health benefits too) was a daylight lamp. There were two stalls facing one another both selling different makes at the same price. One of them was advertised as a full spectrum lamp rather than a daylight lamp. I asked the guy on the stand what the difference was.
"This little beauty", he said, "is beyond daylight."
Coo! "Beyond daylight!" I breathed, my eyes saucer-wide, while my friend stood behind me muttering and rolling her eyes so hard people thought she was having a seizure.
The kind man explained what beyond daylight meant although I forget what it was now, but anyway it's jolly good. He also said it was a SAD lamp, by which I think he meant Seasonal Affective Disorder, rather than implying I was a mug punter for buying it. At least I hope so. Anyway, when my next credit card bill thuds on the mat and I'm feeling a bit blue I'll be able to nip under my lamp for a few minutes and perk myself up. Probably top my tan up a bit too. Hurrah!!
I also bought some acid coloured papers. I am emerging from my "brown crafting" phase and need to pep my stash up a bit, so I bought some Autumn Leaves French Twist papers. I've also ordered some stuff from the Bam Pop range (including the little robot stamp at the top) and Love Elsie Roxie papers this morning.

What larks! How nice you had a little friend to go with as well (I always have to drag somebody reluctant!). Looking forward to seeing something neon (I think!) xx
Love those daylight lamps, don't know how I'd manage without mine now - and Beyond Daylight eh? wow!! I have no idea what that means but would have been deeply impressed nonetheless.
looking forward to the neon robot stuff - maybe you can inspire me to use my Bampop!
