I have given up on the Christmas cards. The Christmas cards are a lost cause. I haven't a hope of making all or even most of the ones I need (what with me being so fabulously popular and all). I shall give out the ten or so tenderly crafted ones I have made and then supplement them with store bought tat. Actually no, scrub that, I will send all store bought tat and keep my tenderly hand-crafted designs for gazing at lovingly in a locked room. Nobody ever bothers to comment on my handmade ones anyway; Kate, you are perfectly right.
So on to Christmas decorations. I made these over the past few days.

This one is Stampbord, inked and stamped and UTEE'd. Can't remember the stamp, is it Rubber Stampede?

This is my favourite. I love her rather sour expression. I call her the Receipt Fairy (as in "Did you keep the..."). She looks like she's not very happy with what her boyfriend got her. I bet she'd asked for a nice comfy pair of boots and he got her a size ten baby doll nightdress. And she wouldn't mind but she's not even a size ten, and he knows that.
I tore a page from a book, painted it and stamped on it with the Invoke Arts Pierrot doll. Embossed it and glittered it a bit to try to perk her up a bit.
I'm sending both of these to Jackie as a thankyou for the generous things she's done for me lately. Hope you like them!(Oh God, I sound like you-know-who, don't I?)

THAT's what you do with Stampbord! (You've got a Crop-a-dile haven't you???!!!!) I love those, they're fab. Make more for your tree. And I had a brill idea. Your cards are so fabby that you could put them in frames and hang them on the wall for the festive season (starts 1st December in our house; we're not miserable about everything!!) xx
Oooh Ooh! For me? I'm touched :o)
I read the post, saw the lovely deco's and thought to myself "hmm, wich I could make summat like that" but I dont have to! (and lets face it, I couldn't anyway!)

OK. I have no idea what either stampbord or a crop-a-dile is are?) but I suspect I ought to have both. This is why I have become one of your "bohemian friends". I love your decorations and I wish I could make something like that.
