Journal Your Christmas: 4th December

Today's prompt was to think about what would make Christmas perfect for me.

I have to be frank and say that the perfect Christmas for me would involve lots of food and drink and not having to spend time in the company of my relatives (big family argument last Christmas, still rumbling on), but I don't think that's very on-message really is it? This year though, after a few years of cooking for both sides of the family (around 12 of us in all) I'm having a year off and it will just be the four of us. I'm really looking forward to it and I've journalled that fact on a tag hidden behind the photo. (I thought I better keep it hidden in case the relatives get hold of it - don't think they'd take it in the right spirit somehow.)

I wish this tree was mine, but sadly it's just a stock image off the net. It's lovely though, just how a proper tree should be.
