Reader, the hopeless slump of the bag roughly approximates the joyless slump of my shoulders: after nearly three months' sick leave with my slipped disc, I finally had to go back to work today :( :( :(
.
Today's JYC prompt was to try to capture something of the magic of the season in photography. I took my camera into work because I thought I'd take some pics of the cheesy decorations bound to be festooning the office. But when I got into work there were none to be seen. I work on a team of hep and a dudey young cats (how could I not?) who are far too cynical and cool to have anything to do with tinsel-based products, so they refuse to put any up. I remember this happened last year too, and I took a particularly dim view of it (although desperate to show that I was down with the kids, I went around with a permanently curled lip, saying things like "Yeh...bloody Christmas, like, who needs it, yeh?").
.
They don't give Christmas cards either. Miserable buggers.

"Bah Humbug" is always a good one too! Hope your day is a bit better (perhaps you could sneak a pretty glittery sticker in and pop it on the corner of your monitor or something!).

Oh how dire for you. Work is really shit isn't it - kind of interferes with your personal life I find....
