JYC Prompt: the perfect gift

I already have my perfect gift this year. Last Saturday, after  just 18 months of protracted whining, bitching and moaning on my part, Mr B surprised me with 32 inches!

A new TV. There it is, peeking shyly out  from behind the tree! We had been making do for so long with a beyond knackered 10 year old thing, with a wee screen and half the front falling off, and I got to the point where I thought "Sod it, I'm 41, I have two kids and a responsible job, I DESERVE to have a big screen tv!" *

S'wonderful. I love it. Am thinking of jacking in work so I can spend more time with it. It's particularly good because being, like, dead intellectual, me and Mr B watch loads of world cinema and we can now actually read the subtitles without inducing a migraine!! I can  also make out QVC's p&p charges now, which has been a bit of a wake up call. Crikey! No more impulse purchasing for me from now on! Probably.
