I made this stamped card for this week's challenge on Daring Cardmakers - go back to basics and make a card without using pre-assembled embellishments.
This really is back to basics for me, as rubber stamping is how I got started with cardmaking, about 10 years ago. Having dragged, rag rolled and stencilled the living daylights out of every available surface in my house (this was the 90's, after all) I used a foam star stamp to make Christmas cards one year and have been addicted ever since.
The dress is the ubiquitous My Mother's Dress Stamp (Rubber Stampede? Can't remember) watercoloured using Sakura gelly sparkles pens; the tiara is from an Invoke Arts um plate, gold embossed; the crackle background is a Crafty Individuals stamp, gold embossed; a bit of sheer ribbon (ribbon doesn't count, lol!), quickutz photo corners and Brenda Pinnock paper.
I'd lost interest in this stamp but at Port Sunlight last week I saw a sample made where the dress had been raised with 3-d foam and tarted up a bit and it looked beautiful, so it's rekindled my interest.

Lovely card. I love that stamp too and I've used it to create a card for my mum's birthday. I stamped on fabric and painted the dress with acrylics.
This card is yummy and I love the other one from your QVC haul that came through, you weak weak woman, lol.
I know how you feel, us girlies can not deny I ourselves, the power of the bargain is too strong!!!
